Pumpkin Carving Night

Tuesday night before Halloween we all gathered around the table in the dinning room with all of our pumpkins, carving tools, and some markers for some good old fashioned pumpkin carving!

Heidi does not like getting dirty, recall the Pinata Party. It was very painful for her to put her hand on this pumpkin to gut it. Posing for the picture may have given her nightmares.

Ick! This is where she gave up and I took over.

She decided to color the little pumpkins instead.

She had a great time decorating all the little pumpkins.

Now that the big pumpkin is gutted, Daddy is giving a carving demo.

Heidi's turn. Use those muscles!

All done! Oh, no, it's the headless horseman!

Heidi did this one on her own. Good job Heidi!!

While they carved, in addition to taking pictures, I decorated this one. I like the red hair!!

Great job everyone, this one is very scary and the ear is a great touch! They already have plans for next year which include templates...
